My Publication with the Canadian Student Business Review
As part of my undergraduate studies at the University of Waterloo, I decided to pursue a minor in Political Science to accompany my Batchelor of Global Business and Digital Arts. As a result of one of my classes, Government and Business, I wrote a paper entitled “Privatization and Deregulation: Worthwhile Temptation or Societal Complication?” wherein I discussed the merits and pitfalls of the privatization of public institutions.
Beyond the purposes of the class, I felt the paper was strong and could appeal to a wider audience. After doing research on several possible publications, I came across the Canadian Student Business Review (CSBR) and felt my paper would be a good fit for their organization. I reached out to them and they agreed to feature my paper as a multi-part entry into their Zero-Sum Blog.
More than a year after writing the piece, I am still extremely proud of it, and I feel that it demonstrates good communication, analytical and argumentative skills. It is for this reason, I am proud to feature this paper on my portfolio. I hope you enjoy reading it.
